What's the difference between 49 strand, 19 strand, and 7 strand bead wire?
|
49 Strand Beadalon |
19 Strand Beadalon |
7 Strand Beadalon |
49 Strand Beadalon is the most flexible, nylon coated, stainless steel, bead wire. It's stronger, more flexible, and less likely to kink than 19, 7, or 3 strand bead wire. |
19 strand Beadalon is more flexible than 7 strand wire or tiger tail. It's stronger, more flexible, and less likely to kink than 7 or 3 strand wire. But not as flexible as 49 strand wire. |
7 Strand Beadalon is a flexible, nylon coated, stainless steel, bead wire. It's more flexible, and less likely to kink than 3 strand tiger tail. It's also cheaper than others. |
Beadalon stringing wire comes in a variety of thicknesses or diameters in all three flexibility ratings. Think of the strand count like thread count in sheets. The higher the number of fibers, the softer and more flexible the wire is. You are sure to find the just the right flexibility with the proper strength to hold your beads.
