WIRE - STERLING SILVER
Sterling Wire is sold by the spool. Each spool varies in length but contains approximately 1 troy ounce or about 31 grams of round Sterling Silver Wire.

Smaller wire gauge numbers are larger diameter wires. This means the 18 ga wire is thicker than 20 gauge wire, while 30 gauge wire is very thin diameter wire. Half hard wire is stiffer than dead soft wire. Sterling silver is an alloy that contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.
